Since 2008 Nielsen Digital has been working to streamline the communications process for a Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas. PCPC has over 6,000 members and about 100 employees. We currently develop and maintain a completely custom online registration and productivity suite that is used by 100+ employees to serve over 6000+ constituents at Park Cities Presbyterian Church (PCPC). The Communications Department uses the system to manage work orders for print and electronic media requests. Staff can control content for specific pre-determined areas of the PCPC website. We’ve even created an application that allows staff to create HTML e-mail files using one of five predefined templates that is imported into the Shelby Database System the church uses as its contact manager.
Manage My Quotes, or MMQ as we affectionately call it around here, is an online web application which is geared for public speakers, writers, academics, and the enthusiast of reading. It’s user friendly interface allows users to enter source information (e.g., book, online source, journal article) and then save and categorize quotes. These quotes are then searchable, printable and exportable following the Chicago Manual of Style’s guidelines.
